The company’s four subsidiaries provide state-of-the-art professional health, environmental and information technology services to public and private institutions throughout the world

WASHINGTON, D.C. (May, 2009) -- This year marks the 20th anniversary of Aliron International, Inc., the flagship corporation of the Aliron family of companies. What started in 1989 as an idea—an idea designed to save the U.S. government money in providing medical services to military and other personnel—has grown from a two-person operation into four companies that over the years have employed nearly 500 people in 19 time zones around the globe.

“In our early years, we were neophytes in the world of government contracting,” says Aliron President Cora Alisuag. “But through hard work and diligence we were able to secure our first contracts and grow our business.”
The Washington, D.C.-based firm has since acquired dozens of sole-source federal government contracts and has opened field offices in several locations, including Texas, Germany and Japan. Despite its rapid growth, Aliron has continued to maintain its reputation of providing strong, expedient service in credentialing, recruiting and project management. It also has expanded its work to include developing facilities and products to help solve pressing environmental issues and to fill voids in information technology.

Highlights of Aliron’s two decades of successes include:

  • In fulfilling its government contracts, the company has provided the U.S.military and Veterans Administration with nearly 60 different types of medical personnel.
  • At the request of the U.S. Department of Defense, it has built and fully staffed several state-of-the-art ambulatory health-care clinics for military personnel and their families.
