Description of Work: Employs chiropractors, chiropractic assistants and administrative staff to perform chiropractic services at various Army and Air Force medical treatment facilities in accordance with the precepts of the Council on Chiropractic Education and the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The services performed meet ethical, professional and technical standards. Aliron provided the initial outfitting of chiropractic equipment and physical therapy machines for each clinic.

Aliron demonstrated its capability to provide, on short notice, a variety of trained, certified and experienced full- and part-time medical specialists to staff the Department of Defense (DoD). This is a US Congress-mandated, three-year demonstration program to determine the feasibility of providing ongoing chiropractic services to US Armed Forces personnel and their beneficiaries. The results of this pioneering effort will influence a DoD decision of whether to continue this type of service as a regular military treatment program offering.
