Contract Title: VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic

Description of Work: Aliron was awarded these contracts to provide primary care services to eligible veterans in Traverse City, Michigan and 10 surrounding counties; in Littleton, New Hampshire and five surrounding counties in New Hampshire and Vermont; and in Pontiac, Michigan and surrounding counties. When contracted to operate the Saginaw, Michigan, CBOC, Aliron implemented a comprehensive plan to locate, lease and supervise the construction of the physical space in accordance with all OSHA, VA, JCAHO, local codes and fire restrictions. Among the three CBOC projects, Aliron acted to employ, train and orient clinic staff and to procure all necessary non-medical and medical equipment, supplies and furniture for the clinic. Services provided at the Aliron-managed CBOCs include primary and preventative medical care, stat laboratory testing, routine radiology procedures, pharmacy services and EKG's, as necessary. The CBOCs refer patients to the clinic's parent hospital or outside specialists for some medical services. Aliron is responsible for the oversight of all clinical operations and ensures on-going compliance with all VA, OSHA and JCAHO standards and requirements.
