Christer
Bergman
A
member of Aliron's Board of Advisors, Bergman is President and Chief
Executive Officer of Precise Biometrics, a company that develops
and sells biometric fingerprint solutions for IT security, embedded
solutions and physical access to facilities. The combination of
IT security solutions and physical access control systems ensures
that the same smart card can be used for access to doors and computers,
enabling increased security and reduced costs.
An
international executive with special strengths in general management,
partnership building and the creation of customer-oriented corporate
culture, Bergman has a Master of Science degree from the Lunch Institute
of Technology and the University of California. He has been chief
executive officer of high-tech companies in both Sweden and the
United States. He also has extensive experience in international
sales and has held marketing positions at such companies as Hewlett
Packard, Informix and VIDAR Systems. Starting with the idea of creating
a virtual international management consultant company, Bergman found
NOVEXUS, LLC in 1999. He has a proven track record in expanding
businesses.

John
M. Toups
A
member of Aliron's Board of Advisors, Toups has long been a leader
in engineering and management operations for both private companies
and public agencies. In 1958, he became the founder and chief executive
officer of a civil engineering firm that merged with Planning Research
Corporation (PRC) in 1970. After holding several senior management
positions, he became the President and Chief Executive Officer of
PRC, overseeing the work of 8,000 employees working on engineering
and computer system programs throughout the world.
Toups
retired from PRC in 1987, and now currently serves on the boards
of NVR, CACI, Halifax, Geo Centers, Greenhorn and O'Mara, TelePad,
Thermatrix, and Digicon. He also serves as a Member and Past President
of George Mason University Foundation Board of Trustees, Inova Health
System Foundation Board of Trustees, Professional Services Council,
Northern Virginia Community Foundation, and the American Society
of Civil Engineers.

Mark
Wexler
A
member of Aliron's Board of Advisors, Wexler is the Editorial Director
of National Wildlife, which is published by the National Wildlife
Federation, the largest conservation organization in the United
States with some four million members and supporters.
A graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, Wexler
has been writing about environmental and science subjects for three
decades. During that time, he has won several awards. Subjects he
has written about include the effects of hazardous wastes on human
health, how runoff pollution contaminates drinking water supplies,
wildlife habitat loss and other conservation and environmental topics.
In addition to National Wildlife, his articles have appeared in
several other major magazines and newspapers. Over the years, he
has developed extensive contacts with experts in environmental matters.
